Healing from the Inside Out
Shauna's Radical Model for Transforming Trauma
Shauna Quigley is a person-centred psychotherapist, trauma-informed educator, and founder of InCorr, The Science of Healing. Her work integrates interoceptive science, phenomenological inquiry, somatic therapy, and trauma-informed practice to support deep, embodied healing beyond symptom management.
Through the development of the InCorr Method, Shauna teaches therapists, coaches, and healing professionals how to work with the root causes of anxiety, trauma, and emotional pain through the body. Her approach is grounded in compassion, nervous system understanding, and the belief that true healing happens when we learn to safely turn toward what has been held, avoided, or protected within us.
Shauna’s work focuses on the distinction between secondary pain, the symptoms, strategies, and protective patterns we develop, and primary pain, the original emotional wound held in the body. Through this lens, she supports practitioners and clients to move beyond coping and into curative transformation.
As the host of the Healing at Last podcast and creator of InCorr professional trainings, Shauna is known for her warm, precise, and deeply human approach to trauma healing. Her teaching bridges science and lived experience, offering a practical and compassionate pathway for those ready to understand the body’s role in healing at a deeper level.
Her book Seeing on trauma and transformation, explores her radical and deeply profound journey with transforming her own trauma.
